Panel Getting It Out There: International Strategies

Wendy Mitchell is team member of the British Council Film. She is the former editor, and still a contributing editor, of Screen International. Wendy was Managing Editor of IndieWire, Assistant Editor at Rolling Stone, and Assoc. Editor at Time Inc. Wendy has also written for the New York Daily News, Time Out New York, Salon and Billboard, among many others.

A Paris-based film executive with over 15-year experience in the Industry, Pierre Menahem worked at Celluloid Dreams as director of sales and acquisitions for 8 years. In 2004 he founded Scalpel Films, co-producing and selling 4 to 5 films a year from all over the world. In 2011 he created a sales division in the production company MPM Film. In 2015 he founded Still Moving with former MPM Film partner Juliette Lepoutre, a new Paris based company dedicated to international co-productions and sales.


Masterclass From Idea to Production; Script and Project Development

Nathalie Alonso Casale is of French-Spanish descent and moved to the Netherlands at the age of four. She studied feature directing at the Dutch Film school (Nederlandse Film en Televisie Academie) of which she graduated in 1992. Her short film Memorias sin Batallas y otros muertos was awarded with a Golden Calf for best short film, the Pathé Tuschinski Award, and several international film awards.

Her feature film debut Memory of the Unknown was nominated for the VPRO Tiger Awards of the International Film Festival Rotterdam. Her feature Figner, the End of a Silent Century was selected by the Locarno International Film Festival. Besides her own features and documentaries Alonso Casale also collaborates on the editing, scripts, and dialogues of other productions.
