Industry Program 2019

Film professionals and anyone interested in the film industry are cordially invited to attend our presentations and connect with fellow filmmakers present during the 8th edition. Attendance is free and no reservations are required.

Among the film professionals present during the 2019 industry are Lila Aviles (director, La camarista), Pablo Baksht (producer from Mexico), Meryem Benm’Barek (director, Sofia), Sam Ellison (director, Chèche lavi), Cristina Gallego (director, Pájaros de verano), Carlos Sorin (director, Joel),  Gustavo Beck (programmer Yellow Robin Award Competition), Marit van den Elshout (Head of PRO at IFFR), Breanne Thomas (social media and content strategist), Becca Voelcker (writer, researcher and film programmer), Eloise van Wickeren (Film Commissioner Curacao). The talk will share experiences, tips and tricks that can increase a project’s appeal.

Attendees will reflect on some of the essential concepts of film production, which will make them aware of the raw material required to make a film and how to plan, organize and obtain the resources needed to make a film project a reality. “
